Dr. Stokes did a follow up eye exam today with Nicholas and he was VERY impressed with what the injection has already done. He had to check to make sure he had the correct baby, lol. Everything is regressing and going as expected thus far. Nicholas will have another eye exam next week too. His eyes have to be checked frequently because if his condition worsens then he will have to get another injection asap.
Nicholas has not had very many spells today either. He had a couple after his eye exam and his nurse turned his flow up to 3 liters but after he settled back down she was able to wean it back down to 2 liters. Nicholas did have 1 desat. last night but he brought himself back up and that is 1 of the things he must do consistently before he can come home.
